GRAVITY KILLS Cancel All Upcoming Touring Activities Due To Keyboardist's Injury

June 5, 2002

GRAVITY KILLS have cancelled all upcoming touring activities due to the injury sustained by keyboard player Doug Firley during a live performance in Allentown, Pennsylvania in early May. The injury occurred when Firley dropped the custom-made, springloaded keyboard on his hand during the band's single, "One Thing". Here is the band's statement on the matter:

"All scheduled GRAVITY KILLS shows have been cancelled including their spot on Locobazooka. Doug Firley, who broke several fingers on both hands a few weeks ago, has been advised by a doctor to refrain from playing. Due to his desire to accelerate his recovery by returning to the road, his fingers have not been healing properly. He's been ordered to not play for at least 2 months and is scheduled to undergo surgery to correct these complications. Stay tuned for further developments..."
